Products & Pricing

Catalogue and pricing software for FMCG. Schemes on every order.

Set your products, market prices, retailer schemes and distributor margins once. SELL 360 puts them on every order, so nobody does the sums by hand.

The problem

Which scheme, which shop, which pack? Too much to remember.

Imran Ali books 50 shops on Route 7 in Model Town B. Every few weeks there is a new rate, a scheme on one pack, a discount for some shops and not others. He keeps it in a notebook. Back at Hilltop Traders, someone checks the margin on the company's purchase bill line by line.

  • A scheme the booker forgets becomes an argument at delivery.
  • An old rate on the order means the bill and the order disagree.
  • Margins are checked after the stock has already arrived.

How it works

Set it once. Every order follows.

One scheme, followed from the head office to the shop counter, then the distributor's own purchase from the company.

  1. Step 1: Build the catalogue

Products, packs and tax classes go in once. The booker sees the same catalogue, with live stock, on the phone.

  2. Step 2: Set prices for each market

A price list for Model Town B, with the dates it is valid, assigned to the booker, the distributor and the area.

  3. Step 3: Define the retailer scheme

Buy 10 Get 1 Free on Cream Wafer Rs10, for Route 7 shops in November. Scope, conditions and caps are set here, not in a notebook.

  4. Step 4: The booker adds products

At the counter Imran taps in the order. Prices come from the price list, so there is nothing to look up.

  5. Step 5: The scheme applies itself

The order qualifies, so the free Cream Wafer lands on it automatically, with the trade discount and tax worked out. It stays there to delivery.

  6. Step 6: Margins on company purchases

When Hilltop Traders buys stock from the company, the distributor margin applies automatically to the purchase order. No calculator.

Common questions

Questions buyers ask. Straight answers.

Are trade schemes applied automatically?

Yes. Once a scheme is defined with its scope and conditions, it applies automatically to every eligible secondary order. The booker does not need to remember it, and the free product shows on the order and stays there to delivery.

Can prices differ by market?

Yes. Catalogues and prices are assigned by booker, distributor and area, each with validity dates. A booker in Model Town B books at the Model Town B price, and the agreed price stays with the order to delivery.

Which kinds of schemes can we run?

Free product, trade price discount, gift and bundle schemes, plus complimentary and mix and match offers. You can also set discount slabs by product, brand, category and shop, keep special and booker discounts on record, and run loyalty rewards over a set period with caps.

How do distributor purchase margins work?

Distributor margins apply automatically to purchases from the company. Company sales management enters the applicable stock purchase orders, and the margin is worked out on each one, so nobody checks it line by line afterwards.

What if the shop changes the order at delivery?

The change is recorded at the shop and the offers are worked out again for the new quantities, so the bill matches what the shop actually took.
